Have you always wanted to explore beneath the sea? Ever wondered how those marine plants and animals survive such extreme conditions?
If you have an interest in creatures of the sea, this course is for you.
The Tropical Marine Biology course is an online marine biology summer program for high school students and primary students as well.
Course Start Date: July 1st – 26th, 2019
In this course you will find out;
– How mangroves and sea grasses work together to protect the coral reefs.
– How sponges although immovable, can protect themselves from some of the toughest predators.
– Why crabs “change outfits” during growth spurts
– and lots more…
This online course takes place over a series of 4 weeks and will be available for students for 6 months.
Time – Expect to spend 1-2 hours each week reviewing the lessons and taking part in the quizzes.
Class Project – At the end of the course there is a final class project which students can take part in and share their results with other students.
