A complete Phonics & Reading Lesson on the -ake Word Family. This is the second lesson in a series of 5 comprehensive interactive lessons on Word Families with long vowel rimes. This resource is an interactive PowerPoint with lesson development which includes guided practice/examples, independent practice, and engaging activities. It is best suited for students in grades 1 to 2. However, this product may be also be used as a remediation tool for struggling readers at the third-grade level.
